A new chapter
A New Chapter is Blooming…
Some journeys begin with a single flower.
Mine began over 40 years ago, and I could never have imagined where that one decision would lead.
Since then, I have had the honour of preserving thousands of bouquets and floral tributes, each carrying a unique story, a special memory and a moment in time that deserved to be treasured forever. Every bouquet that has arrived at my studio has reminded me why I fell in love with this beautiful craft all those years ago.
But lately, something has been quietly growing in the background.
For many years I’ve received emails and messages asking, “How did you learn?” or “Do you ever teach?”
Until now, the answer has always been no.
Today, I’m incredibly excited to say… that’s about to change.
From September 2026, I’ll be opening the doors to something I’ve never thought about for a long time—a small, personal mentoring programme where I can share the knowledge, techniques and experience I’ve gathered over more than four decades.
Whether you’ve never preserved a flower before, or you’re already working with flowers and would love to take your skills to the next level, this programme has been created to support you every step of the way.
Over three months, we’ll work together through small group mentoring, one-to-one tuition, live Zoom sessions and in-person workshops here in beautiful Somerset, with accommodation available for those travelling from further afield.
More than anything, I want to create a welcoming space where people can learn, ask questions, build confidence and discover the joy of preserving flowers in a truly meaningful way.
This isn’t simply about learning a craft.
It’s about slowing down, embracing creativity, building something with your hands and creating keepsakes that will become part of someone else’s story.
As I begin this exciting new chapter, my greatest hope is that the knowledge I’ve gathered over a lifetime will continue to inspire others for many years to come.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing much more about the programme, what you can expect and how you can become one of the very first students to join me.
If you’ve ever wondered whether flower preservation could become your next adventure, perhaps this is the sign you’ve been waiting for.
I can’t wait to share…..
