At the flower preservation workshop we believe flowers are so much more then something beautiful for a single day.They hold memories of weddings,loved ones,celebrations and moments in our lives that we never want to forget.
We have dedicated decades of preserving the art of preserving real flowers and transforming them into beautiful lasting keepsakes.
Based in Somerton, Somerset we specialise in creating our signature spherical paperweights allowing your preserved flowers to be viewed from every angle.
From the moment your flowers arrive and through preservation and design, to the final finishing of your keepsake,they remain in our care.
After decades of working with flowers we understand just how sentimental they can be.
Along side our signature paperweights,we also create delicate flower jewellery and charm beads and we can incorporate a small amount of cremation ashes into selected memorial pieces.
Everything is created here in Somerset,with our 40 years experience,patience and care that comes from spending decades working with some of life`s most sentimental flowers.

As the founder and driving force behind The Flower Preservation Workshop, Rachael embodies entrepreneurial spirit and leadership. In her role as head designer, she sets the creative direction, ensuring our preserved flowers meet the utmost standards of beauty and excellence. Her hands-on involvement is crucial to our day-to-day operations, steering the company towards continued success and growth. Rachael's passion and dedication have been instrumental in our workshop’s esteemed reputation, inspiring her team and shaping our future.
Head Of Quality Control
As the Head of Quality Control, Julie's contributions are pivotal to our success. Her expertise and unwavering dedication play a critical role in ensuring our paperweights are of the highest standard. This commitment to quality not only guarantees customer satisfaction but also bolsters our reputation for excellence. Julie’s adeptness at managing her responsibilities alongside a demanding schedule is truly admirable, highlighting her importance to our team and the overall success of our company.
Master Grinder & Handyman
Dean, was our Master Grinder and Handyman, and brought us an invaluable 36 years of experience, significantly contributing to customer satisfaction and the high quality of our products. His behind-the-scenes work and efforts to ensure the seamless operation of our expanding workshop have been key to our business's growth. Dean's impact on the flower preservation industry is profound, exemplifying how essential his role is to both our team's success and the positive experiences of our customers.
Very sadly Dean died suddenly at our home on 5.01.2024, the most devastating loss to our whole family.
Finance & Marketing
Becky, involved in Finance, Marketing, & Social, juggles multiple roles with remarkable dedication. For over a decade, she has balanced a corporate career, her family life as a mother to four boys, and her invaluable contribution to our team. As Rachael’s second oldest daughter, her commitment to our organization, while managing a bustling personal and professional life, is commendable. Becky’s ability to maintain such a busy schedule and her long-standing contribution to our team underscore her significant role in our company's success.
